Sound Buttons Phonics - After School Club!
I am currently in the planning stages of arranging an after school club aimed at children working at reception or KS1 levels of phonics.  (They don't have to be in these year groups at school, this is just a guide of the ability range for the sessions). These will more than likely take place on Wednesdays and start after half term.
Sound Buttons Phonics - Minis! (Age 1 - 2.5)
I have had lots of interest recently in classes for younger children.  So I am currently in the planning stages of devising a fun and interactive class, aimed at babies/toddlers.
In order to prepare a child for learning letters and sounds there are a number of aspects to be focussed on first, including environmental and instrumental sounds, rhyming, rhythm and alliteration (google Phase 1 Phonics to find out more).
So these classes will be full of singing, dancing, playing instruments and exploring.  We will sing nursery rhymes and listen to stories together, as well as working our gross motor skills, practising hand/eye coordination and having fun with mark-making, ready for becoming great writers too!
I am aiming to launch this class in September.
If you'd like to register your interest for either of these classes, please CONTACT ME.

"The activities are engaging, fun and educational.  The children have such a great time, they don't even realise they're learning!  Thanks so much"
