Magic water pens

Just wanted to share a new find that’s been keeping my daughter busy and also introducing her to letter sounds.

We’re lucky enough to be on holiday at the moment, and although the pool and beach have hours of fun, it’s also nice to have something to keep toddlers entertained in the shade for a while too.

I recently discovered magic water pen books and have since found these little alphabet cards that also show pictures when water is added on to them. The magic of the reveal, never seems to get boring for my little one, so just thought I’d share.

(Just be careful, most pictures are fine phonetically, but the ‘G’ for example, has a picture of a giraffe, which obviously makes the ‘j’ sound not ‘g’. One of my phonics bugbears!)
